Generation New Earth Discussion Group: Wednesday August 13, 2008, 6:30 - 8:30 pm, Facilitator: Rev. Liz Draman. Donations are accepted. Through lively discussions, support and special guests each meeting we will discover who the Generation New Earth are. We’ll explore the meaning of terms like Indigo, Crystal, Rainbows, Sensitives and more. Instead of drugging our kids out of their creativity and into conformity consider that you have a choice. Discover their special qualities and soul purpose; along with how to preserve their special essence. Karuna Reiki I & II Attunements: Saturday August 9, 12:00 - 4:00 pm & Sunday August 10, 12:30 - 4:00 pm, Instructor: Joan Hauser. $175/person for this two-day course, Registration Required. Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action." Karuna Reiki® is a collection of energies which provide deep healing on emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual levels. I will be teaching Karuna Reiki® Practitioner Level 1 and Practitioner Level 2 using coursework and materials provided through the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) www.reiki.org. I am registered as a Karuna Reiki® teacher through the ICRT.
Over this two session class, students will be attuned to access eight Karuna Reiki® energies. On Saturday we will interact with the four Level 1 energies, and on Sunday we will interact with the four Level 2 energies. Students will receive “The Book on Karuna Reiki®” by Laurelle Shanti Gaia plus other materials.
The prerequisite for this class is to be certified as a Usui Reiki Master Teacher or a Usui Reiki Master Practitioner (also known as ART). Please provide a copy of your certificate at the time of the class.

Basic Animal Communication Workshop: Sunday August 17 , 2008, 11 am - 4 pm, Instructor: Sherry B True. $100/person, Registration Required by August 12, 2008. Join Sherry B True of Spirit Paws for this one day workshop to begin to open your heart and mind to the world of Animal Communication. Sherry will help you understand how you already communicate with your animal companions. We will answer questions like what is the magic they are trying to share with us? What made you choose them or did they choose you? What are they trying to tell us when they look into our eyes? These and many other questions will be explored during this workshop. All that is needed is an open mind. This is an experiential workshop so please dress comfortably. Pack a light lunch and bring a photo or two of your animal companion(s) to work with. The magic of Palmistry 101 made simple, is introduced by Dr. MacGregor as she teaches each student the basics of palm reading. This interactive course promises to have you reading palms within two hours. It encourages novices to expand their “hand” awareness as students inspect the shape of fingernails, mounds, palms and lines across the hand, as they master the 5,000 year old science of palmistry. The reading of hands is a practical knowledge that may be used when entertaining friendships, love, in business or in health. Join us as we utilize the hands of each member of the group as our lesson plan! A short guided meditation and tarot spread will also be offered.

Experience awareness and a sense of grounding that transcends the stress in the body and cultivates transformation as we explore the interplay of energy, movement and healing music.
