Ann Moura: Born in 1947 and raised in a family oral tradition of at least three generations, Ann Moura began writing about her heritage as a Green Witch in 1993 when her mother passed. Her maternal heritage is Brazilian/Celtic-Iberian through her mother and grandmother. Jack Scott, Reiki: After receiving two “miracles” / “spontaneous remissions,” Jack set about to understand what had healed him. He was guided to The Reiki Clinic in Mount Vernon, where he learned and practiced for about 6 years, becoming a Master Teacher in 2003. Just as that Clinic was closing, another opened at SpiritWorks in Timonium. There, he practiced at The Reiki Healing Clinic for a year or so, then took on its leadership until April 23, 2008, when SpiritWorks closed. Kaerwyn Silverwood: Kaerwyn Silverwood is a Washington DC / Baltimore area transplant originally from California. An active member of the Pagan community for the past 22 years, she is a multiple initiate and Elder of the 1734 Tradition, a 60-year-old British Tradition stemming from the works of Robert Cochrane. With intensive studies in Ceremonial Magick and ecclectic Wicca beginning in the 1980's, and as a practicing British Traditionalist Witch since 1992, Kaerwyn has taught numerous Tarot and Pagan workshops around the United States. The Kuychi Foundation: The Kuychi Foundation, created by Amaru Li, has a tri-fold mission in Peru. The primary mission of the Kuychi Foundation will focus funds and energy on preservation of the natural environment in the Andes community.  Currently, there is no potable water readily available in many places, largely due to polluted air conditions.  The foundation will strive to create projects to facilitate the availability of clean water in these communities.  This is intended to reduce the currently high level of diseases in these communities, illnesses which are caused by unsafe drinking water.   In addition, the foundation will create campaigns in Lima which will provide much needed school supplies, in exchange for recycled plastic and recycled electronic goods. A second vision of the foundation is to meet the basic needs to some of the shamanic communities in Peru.  This includes the possibility of providing for multicultural opportunities, such as funding a bi-lingual certified teacher from the United States to teach the Queros children on Ausungate.  The Queros are an ancient shamanic community that preserves the thought and practice of shamanism in that area.  Due to their remote location, their practices were not impacted by the inquisition. Thirdly, the foundation endeavors to provide direct aid support to communities in need.  For example, the foundation (although then simply donation drive!!) was able to provide for basic needs of multiple families in the wake of the earthquake last year, far faster than such assistance would have been accessible through the Peruvian government.
